This years' prize giving day will be bigger and better than ever before.
SG will give recognition not only to its academic achievers but to those who
excel in other co-curricular activities. we appreciate the fact that it is our
uniqueness that makes the world go round, so no one is going to be left out.
Come October 17, 2014 and SG will be the talk of town, DLU Hall here we come!!
and to Groblersdal and its surounds, it will be music, fun, prizes and yes, we
will leave a mark as usual.

MATRIC FAREWELL 2014

Dear Parent/Guardian
We greet you parents warmly and say thank you
for trusting us with your child. Our association
with your child has been fulfilling.
Sadly, at the end of the year the matriculants are going to leave. To toast their departure, we are having a Matric Farewell Ball on the 2rd of October 2014 at Lookout Lodge which starts at 6pm until late.
Learners are therefore required to pay a compulsory fee of R395 at the school. Kindly note that parents are welcome to join this function but will also pay R395 to join in the fun. Payments should be in before the 31st September 2014.
We have provided a tear-off slip which we want you to hand into the school if you want to participate.
Please note that all learners will have to pay regardless.
TERM 3 PARENTS' MEETING AND CONSULTATION

Dear Parent/Guardian
We would like to bring to your attention the fact that parents’ meeting and consultation for parents of grades 1-11 learners will be held at the main school on August 9, at 09h00 sharp.
These meetings are to discuss the learners’’; academic performance, school related issues and discipline, they are therefore of utmost importance as they keep parents and guardians abreast with what is happening in their children’s academic lives.
Parents whose school fees are in arrears for either the school or the hostel are encouraged to please pay up. The school depends on money for its efficient day to day running. We appreciate the efforts of those parents whose fees are up to date.
Last but not least we urge our valued parents and guardians to supervise and sign their children’s homework on a daily basis. This helps to maintain discipline, enables parents to understand their children’s performance and to assess the learners’ progress, and is vital in developing time management and study skills. We as a school can never over emphasize the value of homework.
